Managing cases

The case designer is designed to automate, build and customize the stages of the company's business processes. The concept of case management is aimed at ease of use and ease of design.

Case management does not require knowledge of a specific process notation and provides a simpler case management. Use cases if there are several ways to reach the goal of a business case and none of them can be predicted. You can set the order and parameters of case stages, and specify the steps and tasks for each stage.

Access the case designer through the section wizard or from the [View] section menu (Fig. 199).

A case consists of the following general elements:

  • Stages;

  • Sub-processes (regular BPMN processes);

  • Tasks that must be completed by the user.
